Brian Borchers

Brian joins our team with a lifetime experience in boating.  While growing up in Michigan, he spent his summers cruising and racing sailboats on the Great Lakes ranging from small Hobie Cat’s and Flying Juniors to large IOR sailboats.  After graduating from Central Michigan University, Brian relocated to New England in 1988 where he continued his passion of sailing and racing sailboats.  Brian has held leadership positions in multiple boating organizations including Commodore of the South Shore Yacht Club (Weymouth, MA) and Commodore of the Maine Division 12 Hobie Cat Association.  Currently, Brian and his wife Christine are members of the Metropolitan Yacht Club (Braintree, MA) and the South Shore Yacht Club (Weymouth, MA) where they enjoy cruising their Mainship 390 throughout New England in the summer months.
