Additional Specs, Equipment and Information

Manufacturer Provided Description

Step aboard a Southport 29 Center Console and you will appreciate the wide 10’6” beam, easy walk around access and the large foredeck at the bow. The distinguishing feature of the 29 CC is the large, deep 157 gallon insulated fish box with macerator located at the forward section of the console. Big fish, beach gear and an optional removable 72 quart cooler is easily contained within the fish box and the large comfortable top cushion serves as seating for multiple people or a spacious sun pad.

A leaning post with aft facing seats, 45 gallon live well and storage compartments is located behind the console. The console features a lockable stand- up head enclosure with a flip up entry hatch to protect your head when entering and contains a marine toilet, fresh water sink, stainless steel portlight and mirror. An added feature in the Southport 29 Center Console is vertical rod storage for six rods, a convenience all fisherman will appreciate. A total of (6) flush mount rod holders comes standard and there is capacity under the gunwale for (10) rods to be stored horizontally. Centered between the port and starboard transom doors is a fully equipped bait rigging station that has a fresh water sink, insulated bait storage area and cutting boards.

The Southport 29 Center Console is typically powered with twin 300 HP Four Stroke outboards which provide ample speed, good fuel economy and an extremely well balanced ride that makes offshore adventures enjoyable regardless of the sea conditions.
