Jamie and Mike, 34’ Sea Ray Amberjack 2001 – MA

After six long hours of perusing Yacht Broker booths at the 2007 Boston Boat Show we met Dana Brandt. Reviewing their countless listings posted on the wall we came across a 34’ Sea Ray Amberjack, a boat we have been admiring for more than a year.
It was at that moment that we realized that Dana was the antithesis of the stereotypical broker because he didn’t swoon over us like a hawk targeting its prey. Instead, he politely introduced himself and informed us he would be happy to assist us with any questions regarding any listing of interest and would welcome the opportunity to help us purchase a vessel that would truly make us happy. During the conversation, Dana asked us if we had a boat to sell.
We told him we had a 28” Albin and he replied he might know someone interested. We knew this wasn’t a typical sales response because Dana epitomized integrity. Within two weeks of this first meeting, Dana had efficiently marketed our Albin, received several inquiries and sold our Albin at the best market price. His comprehensive market analysis was right on target. Next, we began working collaboratively with Dana and Eric (the listing agent for the Sea Ray). Eric’s philosophy and approach to business was the same as Dana’s. It was all about us. We needed to be happy. We know this is their business and they could spin anything to their advantage, but they didn’t.
Both transactions were handled with the utmost professionalism and the least amount of stress as possible. This process was truly our pleasure. We were kept informed every step of the way and they both went above and beyond expectation for our satisfaction. Between their knowledge base and sense of “True Customer Service”, we couldn’t be more pleased and recommend Dana Brandt for anyone interested in dealing with true, caring professionals on their voyage to their dream boat. Thanks and best wishes for continued success.
