Eric, I really have to thank you for all of your help and expertise in our purchase of our new Sunseeker. I remember when I was buying my first boat several years ago and you completely walked me through the deal even though there was really nothing in it for you as it was a broker's boat with no commission. I vowed that when I was ready to move up I would call you. Well a few years later and the time was right, but I wasn't sure what I wanted. You really have the patience of a saint as I am a very tough customer and I had little idea of what style of boat I wanted and what I wanted to do with the boat. You really were great at helping me understand the pros and cons of many different style boats.
When we decided a Sunseeker was the boat I wanted you found several boats and traveled (planes, trains, and cars) all over the place to look at boats to determine which was the best boat. I was really impressed at the fact that your dedication to us did not end with the sale. You continued to keep in contact with the broker to make sure all of our survey issues were addressed. Even the broker told me in confidence that he has never dealt with a yacht broker with so much attention to detail and care for his clients. I am so thrilled with the experience and my new boat that I will always only deal with Smith Yacht Sales and will insist that anyone contemplating a boat should do the same. I have been admiring Southports in the Hingham Shipyard since we moved to the area 3 years ago. More importantly, my wife, who is not quite the boating enthusiast I am, had always said "well, if you ever do get a really nice boat, that's the one you should buy". And that was based on looks alone. When we researched Southports online and couldn't find one comment that wasn't absolutely glowing about the ride and quality of fit and finish, we both knew Southport was our perfect boat.
